IONIC Exchange is the utilisation of products containing Negative IONS (good IONS) to remove Positive IONS (Free Radicals) from the skin.  Free Radicals, the leading cause of premature ageing, are created as a result of overexposure to the sun, air pollution, excessive alcohol consumption, smoking and stress. 

When applied, negative-rich products pull the free radicals from the skin like a strong magnet.  Once extracted, the product is then washed off leaving the skin feeling smoother, brighter and healthier.

When formulating our third vertical treatment range we went bush!

victoria's essentials has created a uniquely Australian Treatment line that combines our IONIC Therapy with Native Australian Herbal Extracts.  All IONIC Therapy products contain a combination of rare Aboriginal Plant Extracts, Australian Macadamia Nut Oil, Sandalwood Powder in a base of natural humectants and our own detoxifying, Crystal ION 120 IONIC Concentrate.  The resulting treatment will soften, revitalise and replenish the skin adding natural anti-oxidants and moisturisers, lightly scenting the skin with our own blend of Sandalwood and Rose essences.

A quick guide to our Aboriginal Bush Extracts:

Kakadu Plum (Murunga) Extract:
This wild fruit extract comes from fruit gathered in remote Northwestern Australia.  Kakadu Plum is known to contain the world's richest natural fruit source of Vitamin C, 50 times more ascorbic acid than citrus fruit and also contains high levels of folates and more recently is investigating the equally remarkable content of polyphenolic antioxidants. All this makes the Kakadu Plum a strong, natural anti-oxidant. 

Quandong (Santalum acuminatum)Extract:
Also known as the desert peach, Quandong is wild-harvested in the deserts of Central Australia. Quandong is a relative to the Native Sandalwood Tree. Quandong Extract is high in santalbic acid and essential fatty acids traditionally used to treat itchy skin and relieve minor skin irritations.



Lillypilly Extract:(Syzygium Luehmanii)
Extracted from the fruit of the Lillypilly tree, is rich in vitamin C for skin regeneration. The Lillypilly fruit has since been found to possess good astringent properties, a high vitamin C and anti-oxidant content, and fruit acids to exfoliate the skin.

Macadamia Nut Oil:
The oil from the macadamia nut has strong emollient qualities. It absorbs rapidly into the skin where it soothes and softens, leaving behind a protective barrier that helps prevent moisture loss.  This unique oil is similar in composition to the skin’s natural sebum, containing a large concentration of palmitoleic acid, which is believed to be a major key in helping to slow down the ageing process! With high levels of Vitamin A and E and packed with proteins, this daily moisturiser will smooth, soften and heal while also offering a protective barrier against moisture loss.
